white screen of death

Yesterday morning my Mac suffered the white screen of death. After the panic, tears and reality of my hard drives problems, I first missed Erick for practical reasons, he is a Mac Tech, he configured my computer, he could fix it. But After 24 of freaking out and talking to my brother for help and tech support I learned, I don't even need him to fix my computer. Though it sucks I lost everything, I no longer have those files he made named "erick" on my computer anymore. He now officially exist no where in my life, and I love that! I am 100% free, even my computer is free, though it still needs some TLC from me. I do not need a man to fix my problems for me...it would have been helpful, don't get me wrong, but I can do even the computer stuff without help beyond tech support and my techie-brother.
